This is the recipe that will turn you into a Raw-Foodist! :)))
The truffles are so delicious, a great healthy substitute for a chocolate bar!
-1 1/2 Cup soaked walnuts (you can also use sesame seeds, almonds, hazelnuts, sunflower seeds, or anything else you have in your cupboard! Try to soak the nuts so that they are easy to digest)
-1/2 Cup soaked (or soft) dates
-1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
-The seeds of 1 vanilla bean (optional)
– 1/4 Nutmeg
-2 TBsp Raw Cacao Powder
-Dry Coconut for decoration
1. Process the nuts/seeds in the food processor. Keep processing them until a smooth texture is achieved.
2. Add the rest of the ingredients (without the coconut). Process again until everything is well mixed and clumped together. Have a taste and add extra honey if you like it sweeter.
3. Roll balls with your hand and roll them into the coconut, cocoa powder or grinded nuts.
