Group yoga classes held outdoors or at cosy well equipped studios are a great way to popularise the magical benefits of what I call "Creative Vinyasa Flow". Using the breath as a vehicle to calm the mind and nervous system, strengthen muscles and organs, and draw the awareness inwards, we create a 'vinyasa' - breath-synchronised flow with a creative touch - we take a step into imaginative and challenging sequences that rejuvenate the body and mind. Each class finishes with a guided mediation and visualisation while relaxing in Shavasan (Corps pose). This practice is used to release brain chemicals that act as natural brain tranquilizers - lowering blood pressure, heart rate, and anxiety/stress levels. The final part of the Yoga practice brings positive emotions and energy, makes one feel happier, more joyful and peaceful.
